James Lipton: “How to Act Human”

James Lipton, dean emeritus of the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University, will appear on The View this Friday. He has recently been getting a lot of press regarding his How to Act Human project, in which he offers advice on mastering presentation and public appeal for the presidential candidates.

He was interviewed last Thursday about How to Act Human, Inside the Actors Studio and the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace by Laura Ingraham on her national radio show. Tuesday Lipton appeared again on Chris Matthews’ Hardball on MSNBC. The story first broke in New York Magazine in print and online and then was picked up by MSNBC’s Hardball. Media outlets from the political blog Politico to the UK’s the Daily Mail have picked up on the story.

In October, Lipton will appear on MSN’s NOW with Alex Wagner in a series commenting on each of the presidential debates.

Inside the Actors Studio, nominated for 14 Emmy awards in 14 years, is currently finishing season 18 and its 250th episode and will begin shooting its 19th season in the fall.
