PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – The National Association of Collegiate Marketing Administrators (NACMA) has awarded Pace University Athletics with the Bronze Medal in the Promotional T-Shirt Design category for the 2010-2011 school year. Pace promoted the basketball teams with their white out “True Fan” T-Shirts this past year.
Assistant Athletic Director for Marketing and Promotions Zach Dayton said, “I am very excited that Pace Athletics was recognized by NACMA on the national level for engaging our students and we look forward to creating new ideas for next year.”
Student Athlete Advisory Committee President and Women’s Volleyball Team Captain Shea Hansen commented, “The t-shirts were a great reminder that Pace Athletics is on many of the social media websites such as Facebook, and Twitter. Now we all can get game updates, and scores by using the social media websites every day.”
Initiated in 2003, the NACMA Awards program honors outstanding achievement in marketing and promotions. Awards are presented in 16 categories, with each category divided into three groups based upon school size and conference affiliations to promote fairness.
