Art In America, one of the most prestigious art magazines in the country, reviewed “Tunneling,” the art exhibit where Associate Professor of Art, Will Pappenheimer, served as curator.

The exhibit was closely related to the project Pappenheimer did on Virta-Flaneuerazine and highlights some of the technology art works that are still somewhat foreign to the art world.

From the article: “Offering up insights into how new media can be used to create art that is compelling formally as well as conceptually, Pappenheimer nonetheless eschewed what he could easily have relied upon: novelty, and the sexiness of the cutting edge.”

The full article is in the November issue on newsstands now, and is also viewable online here.
