Australian director/actress Zoe Caldwell will share the stage of The Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts with Cosmin Chivu, Director of Pace’s BA Theater Arts/Directing Program, on Monday, April 23 at 6 pm.

Pace University will host An Evening with the Legendary Zoe Caldwell, as part of its Master Series, April 23 at the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts.
Four-time Tony Award winner Caldwell last appeared Off-Broadway in the U.S. premiere of David Adjmi’s Elective Affinities. The 6 PM event, moderated by Cosmin Chivu, is part of the series that aims to provide “the new generation of students/artists with the opportunity of interacting with well-established, outstanding professionals that have developed new voices and ideas.”

Cosmin Chivu, Winner of the 2012 Drama League’s New Directors/New Works Project and Director of Directing at Pace Performing Arts, will moderate the second Master Series presented by Pace Performing Arts on Monday, March 26 at 6 pm.
Professor Cosmin Chivu, Director of Directing at Pace Performing Arts, will engage three of America’s leading theatrical producers in discussions of their unique practices and bodies of work, followed by a Q&A session with Pace BFA and BA Performing Arts students.
The producers who will be at center stage of the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts are:

Broadway: A Streetcar Named Desire (starring Jessica Lange and Alec Baldwin), James Joyce’s The Dead, John Leguizamo’s Freak, Arthur Miller’s A View from the Bridge (starring Liev Scheiber and Scarlett Johansson), That Championship Season (starring Brian Cox and Jim Gaffigan). Former head of the Lincoln Center Theater and the Goodman Theater.
- AMANDA FELDMAN – Producer. Off Broadway: The Hotel Project, Prison Light, Lake Water, The Play About My Dad.Coordinator of NYC World Theatre Day Coalition. General Manager of the Lark Play Development Center, 2006-11.
- ALEXANDER FRASER – Producer, Daryl Roth Productions.
