Incoming Pace musical theater major Jess LeProtto has advanced to the top twelve contestants on Fox’s hit show “So You Think You Can Dance?”

From NorthJersey.com/The Record: “His performance on Wednesday night earned him enough votes to move on to next week’s competition. The Fox show is down to 12 dancers and LeProtto looks primed to go much further. After Wednesdsay night’s contemporary dance routine, judge Mary Murphy said LeProtto had proven he is “versatile and here to stay.”

Before he and partner Clarice Ordaz danced, Fox showed his Little Falls’ home and pieces of an interview with LeProtto’s parents, who said they knew he would be a performer since he was very young. In another part of the hometown segment, LeProtto said the opportunities and education at Passaic Valley High School helped prepare him for his performance career.
