Finance programs at Pace University’s Lubin School of Business recognized by CFA Institute
New York, NY – November 26, 2012 — Pace University has become the latest university to be welcomed into the CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Institute University Recognition Program.
“This recognition by CFA Institute clearly demonstrates that a Lubin finance degree provides intensive training in financial analysis and investment management,” said Dean Neil Braun. “The CFA Charter is widely considered the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world and signifies the highest degree of professionalism.”
CFA Institute recognizes that several of Lubin’s Finance programs significantly integrate the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge ™ and emphasize the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. These programs well position students to obtain the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. The CFA® charter has become the most respected and recognized investment credential in the world.
Specifically Lubin’s BBA in Finance, MS in Financial Management, and MS in Investment Management have been recognized by CFA Institute.
Entry into the CFA Institute University Recognition Program signals to potential students, employers, and the marketplace that the Pace University curriculum is closely tied to professional practice and is well-suited to preparing students to sit for the three levels of CFA examinations. Students in the programs will gain access to CFA Institute textbooks, journals, webcasts, and other educational resources.
