Westchester County Business Journal: “Pace out in front in online education”

Online education has taken some criticism in recent years, but not Pace University, whose online programs recently won spots at the top of U.S. News and World Report’s first-ever rankings of Top Online Education Programs.

Online education has taken some criticism in recent years, but not Pace University, whose online programs recently won spots at the top of U.S. News and World Report’s first-ever rankings of Top Online Education Programs.

The courses at Pace were recognized because their course content is “at least 80 percent accessible to students online,” according to the magazine. U.S. News said that is “in keeping with the Sloan Consortium’s industry standard definition of what constitutes an online course.”

Nationally, Pace was one of only four institutions whose online bachelor’s programs made the honor roll.
