Reinsdorf and environmental advocate John Cronin (Pace Academy’s Senior Fellow in Environmental Affairs) are among the people and institutions honored with a national prize for public service on Tuesday evening, June 21 in Washington, DC reports The Associated Press.

The Jefferson Awards, now in their 39th year, were co-founded by former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and are named for founding father Thomas Jefferson.
